Shipping Policy
Ship to Locations
United States
We ship to all 50 U.S. states including Washington, DC. We currently do not ship to military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO) or the U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands or American Samoa). At this time, all orders are being shipped from Canada. Tariffs may/will apply to all US orders.
Canada
We ship to all 10 Canadian provinces including the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut.
International / Overseas
We do not ship to Mexico or any other international country.
PO Boxes
We ship to post office boxes at any U.S. Postal Service (USPS) or Canada Post locations. We do not ship to mail boxes at mail box rental businesses such as UPS stores, etc.
Shipping Rates
Shipping is one flat rate and includes free tracking / delivery confirmation. The price of shipping will not change regardless of how many items you purchase (subject to change without notice).
Shipping Process
Most orders are shipped within 48 hrs (excluding weekends and holidays). There are times when we receive a large influx of orders coming in at once (high order volumes) which can increase processing time to 1 – 8 full business days (excluding weekends and holidays), especially during peak seasons or promotional periods. These processing time frames are only estimated (not guaranteed) and are subject to change without notice. Saturday, Sunday and holidays are not counted as business days.

Our definition of a holiday, is any holiday in the U.S. or Canada will count as a holiday in both countries. For example, if it is a holiday in Canada but not in the U.S., it will count as a holiday in both countries and no shipping will take place on that day. Likewise, if it is a holiday in the U.S. but not in Canada, it will count as a holiday in both countries and no shipping will take place on that day.
Shipping Services
All orders are shipped by an Expedited Tracked shipping service (includes Delivery Confirmation / Tracking information).
Orders will be delivered via USPS (U.S. Postal Service) and/or Canada Post.

Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times start the business day after the order has been shipped.

** Holidays and peak mailing periods may cause delays in transit and/or delivery.
The delivery times outlined above are only estimated (not guaranteed) and may include additional time required for lost package claims investigations.
Estimated delivery times may be dependent on the destination location and may vary, especially during peak mailing periods. Delivery may be faster to addresses in major metropolitan cities than to addresses in rural locations.
Rotten Remains’ responsibility is limited to preparing your order for shipment and delivering it to the shipping carrier. Rotten Remains is not responsible for delivery delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, postal strikes, pandemics or any other situations beyond our control.
For orders that have been shipped with a tracked shipping service, a lost package claim investigation can be opened if a shipment becomes lost in the postal system and/or the tracking information hasn’t shown any recent activity. The investigation process can take up to 60 days to be resolved from the date the claim was opened.
Ship to Addresses
It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information you provide is correct and up to date. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the ship to address you provide is correct, up to date and contains all relevant information to accommodate any shipping method (either letter mail or parcel).
It’s recommended that your physical address (house number and street name) be entered in address line 1 and adding a PO Box, apartment, suite or unit number (if applicable) in address line 2.

All addresses are checked and verified with USPS and/or Canada Post before shipment. If there is an issue with the address provided, we (Rotten Remains) may attempt to contact you (via email) for clarification and/or additional information. Issues may include but not be limited to any of the following:
- The address you provided contains information that is unclear.
- USPS or Canada Post states that the address you provided is missing information.
- USPS or Canada Post states that the address is not deliverable for the selected shipping service.
We reserve the right to hold and order for an unlimited/unspecified amount of time or cancel an order if we attempt to contact you for clarification on your address and we do not receive clarification and/or all requested information.
Non-Residential Business Addresses
If the order is being shipped to a non-residential business address, the ship to address provided must include the name of the business and the name of the person that the order is being shipped to.
Accuracy of Shipping or Account Information
Most instances of non-receipt are due to an incorrectly formatted address or missing address information e.g. missing apartment number, missing post office box number and spelling / typo errors in house number, street name, city or town name etc.
Rotten Remains requires a valid, contact phone number (mobile or landline) to complete order processing and shipping. Double check all shipping address and contact information before submitting your order.
If your order is returned due to missing or incorrect address information, refusal to accept the order or any other reason, Rotten Remains will not issue a refund.
We reserve the right to hold or cancel any order if the contact information you provided is incomplete, incorrect, invalid, fraudulent or if the ship to or billing information is incomplete, incorrect, invalid or does not meet our shipping address requirements.
Limitations to Orders in Transit
Rotten Remains reserves the right to limit the number of orders a customer can have in transit at any given time.
Cross Border, Freight Forwarding and Mail Redirection
We do not ship orders to any of the following including but not limited to:
- Third party cross border parcel/mail companies (located on or near the U.S./Canada border or the U.S./Mexico border).
- Third party companies that offer to accept, hold or forward mail and/or parcels to overseas or foreign countries on your behalf.
Any orders placed with a shipping address to either a cross border parcel/mail company or freight forwarding/courier company, may be held or cancelled at our discretion.
Instances of Non-Receipt or Damaged Shipment
Lost Shipment
If you selected a U.S. or Canada tracked shipping service and a shipment becomes lost in the postal system and/or the tracking information hasn’t shown any recent activity, a lost package claim investigation can be opened with the postal carrier within 30 business days to try to locate the shipment. If the claims investigator is unable to locate the shipment, the investigator will contact you to confirm that the package has in fact been lost in the mail system and hasn’t been received.
If the claims investigator is unable to reach you to receive confirmation of non-receipt, the postal carrier claims investigator will be unable to continue with the investigation. In order to re-open the investigation, the postal carrier will require (a) a recent declaration of non-receipt from the receiver and (b) a confirmation of mailing address from the receiver.
Failure to comply with any/all of the postal investigator’s requests or not being able to be contacted by the investigator will result in closure of the claim and you will not be reimbursed in any way.
Damaged Shipment
If you selected a U.S. or Canada tracked shipping service and the package has been damaged in transit by the shipping carrier, a damaged package claim can be opened with the postal carrier. A postal claims investigator will contact you to confirm that the package has been damaged in the mail system and may request additional information regarding the damage and ask you to provide proof of the damages to the packaging or product(s) e.g. photos of the product and shipping materials (packaging).
If you receive an item that has been damaged during shipment by the shipping carrier, the following steps must be taken:
- You must keep all shipment packaging materials e.g. envelope or box the product was received in, included invoice or packing slip, etc.
- Rotten Remains must contacted within 2 business days upon receipt of the damaged item.
- You must provide written detail of the damage and proof of damage by submitting the following examples including but not limited to; large, clear photos of the damaged item(s), the packaging/shipping materials the item(s) was/were received in and clear photos of the invoice or packing slip that was included with the shipment.
- The information and photos you provide will be reviewed by a postal claims investigator. The length of waiting time for a damage claim to be reviewed may vary.
- Once the information has been reviewed, you’ll be notified if the claim has been either approved or rejected.
All decisions made by the claims investigator are final.
Receipt of Incorrect Shipment
If you believe an order has been shipped incorrectly, the following steps must be taken:
- Rotten Remains must contacted within 2 business days upon receipt of the incorrect shipment.
- You must provide proof of the incorrect product(s) received by providing large, clear photos of the item(s) and the packaging the item(s) was/were received in.
- The information and photos you provide will be reviewed by a claims specialist. The length of waiting time for a claim to be reviewed may vary.
- Once the information has been reviewed, you’ll be notified if the claim has been either approved or rejected.
All decisions made by the claims specialist are final.
Failure to Provide Requested Information
Under no circumstances will Rotten Remains or the postal carrier be held responsible or liable in any way for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever if, in the event of a damaged shipment or incorrect shipment, you fail to provide Rotten Remains or the postal investigator with any/all requested information. Failing to provide any/all requested information, will result in closure of the claim and you will not be reimbursed in any way.
Returns and Refunds
All sales are final. In the event that we make the decision to grant a return, the buyer is responsible to pay the full shipping cost of returning the item(s) and the item(s) must be returned using a track-able shipping service to verify delivery. The buyer will not be reimbursed for the shipping cost of returning the item(s). We reserve the right to withhold a re-stocking fee for the return of the item(s) of $3.00 or 30% of the total whichever is greater. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
